Anyway, Juan Carlos Heredia AKA "El Porruo" is a spanish strongman, the strongest man in Spain.

This fella is very humble and kind, he eats like a friggin' dinosaur:

Look at the size of his coffee, they served him in a beer mug, lol. He eats around 3kgs of steak a day.

I don't care she can eat all the McDonalds she wants, I'm not here to pry into her personal choices. I would imagine being bloofy as fuck helps quite a bit in an open weight class.

182.5/224 @ 82.5kg with a miss on a 230 jerk, not sure if lifters in the 90s and 00s even lift.

In the 1992 Olympics gold and silver in the 90 kg class both totaled 412.5kg....

And recently because I was stupid enough to watch rippetoe interview wendler where he says Rigert (thats Rigert now head coach of russian weightlifting but maybe not for long after the klokov akkaev fiasco Rigert) has bad technique.

Wendler or Ripptoe said that? Doesn't strike me as something wendler would say. Ripptoe is such a colossal jack ass. How does someone with no coaching credentials other than some shitty ass book and some badly drawn vector diagrams get such a big following...?

Beyond me, when a guy who hasn't even produced a gold medallist in the american national weightlifting scene is saying that arguable the greatest lifter of all time has bad technique it's time to switch off.
